RECENT EVENTS.
An update from Preston regarding the incident at Cobbatons VJ weekend, swift and prompt action by the Devon and Cornwall Police, along with Cheddars’ photo of the car, means a court case pending, Preston thanked all concerned for the help the museum received, and making plans for next years show.
Smeaththarpe and Plymouth Ford Park went unreported, (sometimes, too many shows, not enough people)
Mount Edgcumbe, Tim from Holsworthy reported that while the weather was fine, vehicle numbers were down on previous years, this has to do again too many shows leave vehicles thinly spread, as Honiton Hill, and Horrowbeer were on at the same time. Honiton Hill, up to its usual standard, and Horrowbeer, had a great Battle of Britain fly past,
Okehampton, due to the uncertainty of this show going ahead, both exhibitors and Public were well down on past years and a shadow hangs over its future,
Pauls Bedford OYD was used in a stage production (open air) of the true story of Corrie Ten Boom, a story about a Dutch family in the 2nd World War, for those of you that can get you-tube put in, The hiding place, Buckfast Abbey, the play ran for 9 nights and the Bedford behaved perfectly,
