STUFF…………….

The skittle ally is now available and maybe   next meeting we will be able  use it, I missed the head count this time, but the room was full,

With the use of the skittle Ally, a show & tell is the theme for the next meeting, so come on you Guys & Girls, have a dig around the cupboards, the more unusual the more interesting…………………..

Efforts are being made to get a light projector we can use to show DVD’s and the like, we may have to use club funds with a back up grant from the main committee, so if anyone knows of one cheap (or knows  or has advice on what we should be looking for) please contact Rod

         The Windscreen report

This is the job of the Hon’ Sec,  But like everything, the more help the better the input, so if you have a storey, a rally, or just a tail to tell, tell it to Rod

A little bit of sad news …… Larry Crane another long standing member from the Exmouth area, passed away recently. Larry was a quite bloke, who sat mainly alone (as was his want) at meetings, he was more well known amongst re-enactors than the vehicle side of things ( although a few of us have fond memories of him thrashing around in his Munga with the engine revving almost to the point of exploding…) He will be sadly missed by those who knew him……….

                                  The Meeting closed  21-15

Clive Runnal, had prepared a quiz, on things to do with WW2, A very good one, with some good scores, top score went to Rob Miller with 21 points out of 23, and won a rather whimsical little trophy made by Clive Cook…………………………

The evening was rounded of with the raffle……………………

Again a good meeting with lots of chat and good food, I forced myself to have the evening Spl,    Mixed Grill     LUVLY……………………….
