               Paul Sleep is working hard to update the website, so any new picture’s will be welcome, all show information that you may have, please send in, the more that is sent the better Paul can use, one  idea is  to try and get a standard of picture’s in line with the MVT calendar, so any ideas on photo shoot locations please forward them to Rod or Paul

Show Dates

 Rod has produced a dairy date list, this (I think) will be shown on the web link, again this year we are much in demand, with some dates clashing 

Stoneleigh

             A mini bus has been sorted, finial cost to be worked out,  Baz proposed  a subsidy, seconded by myself, and  vote was taken in favour,  this will help with the cost, pick times, to be worked out, should think the bus will leave Buckfastleigh (Woodhomle    car park) about 0530, picking up at Exeter, Collumpton, Jct 27, Taunton Dean, this all has to be finalised, time is short, so for details please ring Shane on 01364642370, only between 14-00 & 18-30 as Shane works nights….

Kembel

           As shown in the Windscreen, this show is off, with Severnside putting on a smaller show somewhere else……………………

Meetings

               It is hoped that by  February  the work on the old barn will be well under way, turning it into a meeting room/skittle ally

           This in turn will allow us to broaden the scope of the meeting, i.e. Show and tell, Table Top Sales, Film (DVD) Shows…….. For the February meeting Clive will be doing a quiz, so EVEYBODY BRING A PEN…………………..

           Hampers, again this year, 3 hampers were done for our veterans, Mary Davies, John Allen, John Henley MM, and All 3 have sent sincere thanks to the club members, and we in turn thanked the Buckfastleigh Co—Op for their help in sorting out the savings for us, I must thank Abbie and Ginny, for the help with the shopping and packing the hampers, we done it on Christmas Eve, that’s the shopping and delivery, half of the south of England was frozen, and I have to say it wasn’t easy

Bereavement

                      Sad to say that Anne Joy passed away (Wife of Mike) Anne & Mike of North Devon, used to go to shows with their Austin Champs, Paul Harmes used to drive one for them, they were always ready for a laugh; our condolences go out to Mike for his loss
